I'd like a way to compare two job offers against each other. Or my current job versus a potential new job.
Line up the benefits, commute time, and salary... give me a tool to get clear view between the two offers.12 votes
"...and released in 1995..."
So people with 20 or more years of Java experience is simply not possible.
"...initiated the Java language project in June 1991..."
Not even the people that developed Java have 20 or more years experience.8 votes
I think the biggest factor in this is to make sure our charts clearly that “Years of Experience” means all relevant years of experience, not just the years in this exact job title.
I'd like to easily share my report, without worrying about my salary data being shown to the person I'm sharing with.5 votes
Your College Salary Report at http://www.payscale.com/college-salary-report/bachelors is very useful. It would be even more so if when users sort by column, the Rank column was coordinated to the current sort (e.g., by Early Career Salary, Mid-Career Salary, % High Meaning, and % STEM Degrees).
Instead, no matter which column users select, each institution's rank remains the same: the rank for Early Career Salary.
Can you adjust the site such that the rank coordinates with the column sorted for?

Please explain to the person writing the job salary information that median and average are not the same thing. Basic math should have taught them this.4 votes
For insurance underwriters, it makes a big difference whether the item being insured is a $5,000 or $5,000,000 ship, building, etc. You don't ask about this, so I don't know if the people matched to me are the same.3 votes
This is a great suggestion. We’ll look into adding this.
Please put a button for readers to easily recommend PayScale to the readers' professional network / colleagues (who may not aware that PayScale even exists. Your reports quality boils down to how many persons participate and how wide they are.3 votes
i think that you should add an article about the different jobs that you can have and why they pay that amout of money.3 votes
I'd like to know how to do my job more efficently. What is the best way to take notes? What is the best way to run a meeting? What is the best way to handle email inbox overload? What is the best way to keep a todo list? What is the best software for a todo list, or is it a piece of paper and a pen?3 votes

My name is Jake McCormick and I work with the New England College Of Business. Their listing is on your site here:
They've recently dropped Finance as a program offering. Could someone update the name to reflect this change (remove "and Finance")?
Thank you so much, and let me know if you have any questions.

If I take a survey, and complete my college education information... why do I have to fill it out every time? It'd be nice if those boxes were pre-filled for me, or maybe you could just copy it over to this new survey from my old one.2 votes
The chart doesn't show the frequency of payout i.e. if the salaries given are annual or monthly or 13/14/15 month salary!2 votes
The rankings for your College ROIs is interesting but incomplete. It assumes that the only educational option is a 4-year degree. Today, many 2-year degrees have greater earning potential. I work at Minnesota State Community and Technical College in Moorhead, MN. Most of our technical programs have placement rates of nearly 100% and starting salaries above graduates at a 4-year school.1 vote
